Softbank Hawks Hawks outfielder Kensuke Kondo hit his 16th home run of the season, a solo shot.
In the bottom of the fourth inning with two outs and the score 6-3, he hit a 145 km/h fastball from Orix Buffaloes 's Raiku Katayama into the right-field stands, extending the lead to four runs.
"I was able to perfectly connect with the inside fastball. I think I was able to do my own batting," he said with a satisfied expression. "I'm glad I was able to score a big additional run with home run with two outs," he said, reflecting on Home Run in three games.
