Seibu Lions Holdings' 21st Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders was held on the 24th in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture.

During the Q&A session, a shareholder expressed their opinion regarding measures to combat the heat at Belluna Dome stating, "The summers in recent years have been extremely hot, reaching temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius. I believe that complete dome construction and air conditioning have already been considered, but the summer heat is truly severe, and the cold during the exhibition games is also severe, so I would like you to consider these measures."

In response, Seibu Lions Lions team president Tsuyoshi Okumura explained, "We recognize that heat countermeasures are a serious issue, and we are progressively implementing measures that can be addressed as soon as possible."

"As a new measure, we installed seven large parasols and eight mist poles in the plaza in front of the dome, and in the infield area, we installed 16 long fans each on the first and third base sides, for a total of 32 machines. Additionally, we will install 10 circulators behind the backstop to promote environmental awareness and gradually improve the environment. We will continue to carry out large-scale mist starting last season and large water poles behind the back screen that resemble a large waterfall, allowing visitors to enjoy the water in a relaxed atmosphere. We also plan to add splash sheets as well," he explained about specific initiatives.

He then added, "We will continue to work on improving the environment to match the characteristics of a stadium that coexists with nature. However, we believe that we must consider both issues that can be addressed early this season and those that will be considered in the medium to long term. We will take the opinions of our shareholders into consideration as valuable feedback," indicating his intention to steadily address the various issues at hand.
