Seibu Lions Holdings' 21st Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders was held on the 24th in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture.

Shareholders raised questions regarding the renovation plan for Seibu Lions Station, specifically concerning the torrential downpour that hit before Seibu Lions-The Giants game at their home stadium, Belluna Dome, on the 12th. The heavy rain caused the official merchandise shop, "The Lions Team Store Flags," to suspend operations, among other impacts on the surrounding area. They asked whether there was any cooperation with local governments regarding drainage and other related matters.

On that day, rain seeped in through gaps in Belluna Dome, creating a tremendous noise. Furthermore, at Seibu Lions Station, rain was seen flowing in from outside into the ticket gate area, leaving spectators stranded inside the station.

In response, Seibu Lions Holdings stated, "The area around the station is an extremely important base for our group, where a variety of leisure facilities, including Belluna Dome, coexist with abundant nature. This renovation is part of our efforts to further enhance the attractiveness of the area and maximize the value of the railway line. As the shareholder pointed out, there have been incidents of flooding due to heavy rain. Regarding these matters, we will consult with local governments and other relevant parties again during the renovation to proceed with the renovation of the station to ensure a comfortable environment."
