Seibu Lions launched a fierce offensive in the fourth inning, sending all 10 hitter through the lineup and scoring five runs. This marked their third consecutive game with the lead since the interleague series began.

The fourth inning ended scoreless for both teams, who had gathered in a huddle before the inning began.With one out and runners on first and third, first-round draft pick Taiga Kojima catcher—batting fifth as the designated hitter—delivered an RBI single to right field. With two outs and runners on first and second, Taiga Hirasawa infielder—batting seventh and playing first base—followed with an RBI single to center field, giving the team a 2-0 lead thanks to the “W Oka” duo’s timely hits.

With two outs and runners on first and second base again, outfielder Seiya Watanabe, batting eighth and playing third base, hit his fifth home run of the season, a three-run shot that landed in the fifth deck of the left-field stands at Kyocera Dome, adding three more runs.
