◆ Pacific League: Orix Buffaloes vs. Seibu Lions (21st, Kyocera Dome Osaka)
Orix Buffaloes pitcher Luis Perdomo has been removed from the active roster. In his third year with the team, he started the season as part of the winning pattern, but was moved to the starting rotation after a blown save. He was recalled for the game against Hanshin Tigers on June 12th (Kyocera Dome Osaka) and pitched three runs innings, a decent performance.
In his second start on the 20th against Seibu Lions (Kyocera Dome), he was pulled in the middle of the 5th inning after giving up 4 runs, suffering his third loss (1 win). Looking ahead to the long season, the foreign right-handed pitcher is a necessary asset. He will be waiting for his chance to improve his condition.
