Hanshin Tigers ・Teruaki Sato is on track for the batting triple crown, leading the league in batting average (Central League), on-base percentage (Home Run), and slugging percentage (RBI), but in runs batted in (Pacific League), Nippon-Ham ・All eyes are on whether Reyes can win the triple crown.

Last season, Reyes won Home Run and RBI RBI, but his batting average was only .277. This season, he currently leads the league in batting average at .329 and has hit-leading 78 hit. Home Run is also third in the league in Home Run RBI 13) and RBI (36).

Leading the league in Home Run and RBI is Softbank Hawks 's Ryoya Kurihara with 19 Home Run and 52 RBI. While Reyes is a little behind Kurihara in both Home Run and RBI, he hit 14 Home Run and drove in 38 RBI in July and August last season.

If Reyes can produce a lot Home Run and RBI during his favorite summer season, he could potentially win the Triple Crown, and Nippon-Ham could be in contention for the championship. All eyes will be on Reyes' batting after the interleague games.
