Seibu Lions announced that, as part of its efforts to enhance the value of the areas along its railway lines in the Tokorozawa area, it will carry out a renovation of Seibu Lions Station on the Sayama Line and Yamaguchi Line over a four-year period from fiscal year 2026 to 2029.

This renovation aims to further enhance the appeal of Seibu Lions area, which is home to numerous sports and leisure facilities, and to develop the station space with future growth in mind. Specifically, the station will be rebuilt, the concourse will be beautified, and the space will be designed to heighten anticipation for baseball and live concerts at Belluna Dome, as well as for surrounding leisure facilities such as Seibu Lions Amusement Park, transforming it into a more comfortable and enjoyable station to use.

Furthermore, 2028, during the construction period, will mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of Saitama Seibu Lions in 1978 and their establishment of their home stadium in Tokorozawa.
