Lotte infielder Neftalí Soto hit a home run against his former team, the DeNA BayStars, marking his first home run against any of the 12 professional baseball teams. In the bottom of the 4th inning with one out and trailing by one run, he swung at a 152 km/h fastball down the middle from starting pitcher Irie, sending the ball soaring high into the air and reaching the left-center field terrace. This was his sixth home run of the season and made him the 50th player in NPB history to hit a home run against every team.

In his third season with the Lotte Marines, Soto had played in 53 games prior to this match, recording 38 hit At Bat 157 at-bats for a batting average of .242, 5 Home Run, and 20 RBI. Combined with the 161 home runs he hit during his time with the DeNA Home Run from 2018 to 2023, his fifth home run of the season against The Giants on the 5th of this month would have brought him to 200 career home runs in NPB history, making him the 116th player in history to reach this milestone.
