In the bottom of the sixth inning, with a five-run lead and no outs, runners on first and second, McCusker perfectly timed a high, inside fork thrown by Morita. He blasted a spectacular 138-meter three-run homer to right-center field, his sixth of the season. It was a crucial additional run to stop the losing streak. The foreign player ran around the bases with ease.
