Nippon-Ham won pitcher duel, extending their winning streak to seven games. This is the longest winning streak under manager Shinjo since July 2022.
In the sixth inning, with the score still 0-0, Reyes hit a single to right field with two outs and runners on first and second, loading the bases with one bases loaded. Nomura then hit sacrifice fly to right field, breaking the deadlock. Castro followed with an RBI single to right field, giving them a two-run lead. They added another run in the eighth inning.
On the pitching side, Son, making his first start of the season, delivered a strong performance, allowing only two hit and no runs strike out eight. Supported by the offense, he secured his first win in his third year in Japan.
