
◆Nippon Life Interleague Series 2026: Lotte vs. Chunichi (June 10th, ZOZO Marine Stadium)
The Lotte Marines held a "TEAM26 Day" event during their game against the Chunichi (ZOZO) on the 10th, and former team players—including this newspaper’s reporter Shohei Kato (35),Yukifumi Okada (41), Tatsuya Uchi (40), and Yuta Omine (37) attended the event.
Before matches, he participated in talk shows and photo sessions to interact with fans. Reporter Kato wore jersey number 10, Okada wore number 66, and Omine wore jersey number 1, both appearing on the ceremony pitch. Both showed the dignity of former pros with Norvan pitch. I was also happy to be able to show my son and daughter that I used to play baseball. Hearing the Omine chants at Marine Stadium made me realize, 'Ah, I really was a professional baseball player.'"
