◆Nippon Life Interleague Series 2026 Softbank Hawks 10-4 Hanshin Tigers (June 9, Mizuho PayPay Stadium)

Softbank Hawks won by a large margin, tying Pacific League record with five consecutive inning Home Run, and maintained their lead in the interleague series.

In the first inning, with two outs and a runner on second base, Kurihara hit a two-run homer to give his team the lead. This memorable home run, his 100th career homer, gave his team the lead, and in the second inning, Nomura added another run with his first solo homer of the season. In the third inning, with two outs and a runner on first base, Kurihara hit another two-run homer, and in the fourth inning, with one out, Nomura hit his second solo homer of the day, extending the lead to six runs.

In the fifth inning, starting pitcher Otsu gave up two runs, but in the bottom of the inning, Kondo and Makihara Dai hit two-run homers, bringing the total to 10 runs. These six Home Run were the first time they had hit six since their seven Home Run against Lotte on April 7, 2019 (at Yahoo! Dome = Mizuho PayPay Dome), and they sealed the game.

Otsu won all three of their interleague games, achieving their seventh win of the season, tying them for the league lead.
