In the 3rd inning, with a hit of Reyes and Mannami with one out and runners on first and second, Gunji made a timely doble to left-center to take the lead. With two outs, Otsuka hit his second three-run homer over the right field fence to pull away. This shot was ruled an in-play, but replay verification confirmed it hit the fence at the back of the wall and returned, resulting in a home run.
