◆Nippon Life Interleague Series 2026: Nippon Ham Fighters vs. Nippon-Ham DeNA BayStars (June 9th, ES CON FIELD)

The comedy duo Oswald and Tom Brown threw first baseman pitch. Following the example of then-manager Shinjo and others who entertained the crowd at Sapporo Dome in 2004 by wearing "Gorenger" costumes, they appeared wearing Gorenger masks.

After removing their headgear, Oswald's Yu Hatanaka took on pitcher, Tom Brown's Michio served as catcher, and Coach Morimoto participated as hitter. For some reason, Coach Morimoto stopped his bat and watched the ball go by when pitch bounce, but he was met with loud applause from the stands.

During the photo shoot, Coach Morimoto, one of the original members, was also presented with a Goranger mask, and with all five members present, the "Goranger" team was revived for the first time in about 22 years. The crowd erupted in cheers as their image was projected onto the large screen.
