Shun Mizutani outfielder of the Nippon-Ham, who had been sidelined with a broken left wrist, has returned to the first team. “I got a lot of good-natured heckling from my teammates—my ‘classmates’—so I really feel like I’m back,” he said with a smile.

Mizutani was diagnosed with a "distal ulna fracture of the left bone" after being hit near his left wrist by throw runner while hitter and running in a game Seibu Lions on April 19 (at Escon Stadium).

He played in four practice games in the minor leagues, hit 2-for-9 with four At Bat and Hit by Pitch. Both of hit were Home Run, and he was promoted after producing results. He said, "The best thing is that I'm not in any pain. I've only had about 10 at-bats, but I think I was able to see the ball well and produce some decent results. I don't know how I'll do at the major league level, but I've made it to a condition where I can compete."
