Nippon-Ham pitcher Yi-Lei Sun-Lei participated in the first team's starter practice at Escon on the 8th. He is expected to make his first start of the season in the six-game home series starting on the 9th.

In the minor leagues, he appeared in nine games, compiling a record of two wins and three losses with ERA of 2.54. He showcased his strengths by striking out 39 strike out in 39 innings, and commented, "My condition isn't great, but it's normal. I hope I can just perform as I usually do."

Last season, he started twice in the first team late in the season. During the fourth round, he runs early inning with 2 runs and 3 runs in the second inning, and then left the mound. "I wasn't satisfied with last year's performance. I've always felt frustrated, and I want to pitch to surpass last year's performance," he said enthusiastically.
