Rakuten Eagles 's game against Hanshin Tigers on the 7th was canceled due to rain. The players practiced indoors and elsewhere to prepare.

Manager Hajime Miki said, "We have a night game tomorrow, and the next one is a home game away from home, but the weather is our opponent, so there's nothing we can do about it. We're in the business of dealing with things like that. So, we're not going to make excuses and will just focus on what we can do now."

The team is currently on a three-game losing streak and is struggling in the interleague series with a record of 2 wins and 9 losses. They will regroup after a day of rain delays.
