◆Nippon Life Interleague Series 2026 Hanshin Tigers vs. Rakuten Eagles (May 5th, Koshien)
On the 5th, Rakuten Eagles announced that pitcher coach Koji Aoyama would be moved from accompanying the second team to accompanying the first team, and pitcher coach Riki Onodera would be moved from accompanying the first team to accompanying the second team.
Coach Aoyama had mainly been instructing the farm team's pitcher up until this season. He joined the first team from today.
The team is currently languishing in last place. The previous day, on the 4th, they lost to DeNA in walk-off defeat after failing to hold onto a seven-run lead.
