Orix Buffaloes pitcher Daiki Tajima will start against Hiroshima on June 6th at Mazda Stadium. In his last start on May 30th against Chunichi Kyocera Dome Osaka, he pitched a runs 6 innings, tying his longest outing of the season, and allowed only one run to earn his second win. "I don't want to think about it too much, but I said that I would be happy if I could go up to 7 innings by the end of June. If I can gradually get up to around 7 innings, I would be very happy, and I think it would be a surprise (for myself)," he said, revealing that he is in the middle of his annual plan.
On this day, he checked his form during bullpen pitch. "Because we don't usually face each other, I want to do what I need to do, and I'd be happy if I could contribute to the team as a result. I want to improve the precision of my form, and I want to climb the stairs one step at a time without skipping any steps," he said, expanding on his vision.
