Rakuten Eagles will hold the "Ganbarou Tohoku Rokken Festival" from June 9 (Tue.) to 14 (Sun.) at the Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyoku Park Miyagi in the first leg regular season of six games.

This year, 15 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, the festival will be held with the message "Ganbarou Tohoku" in the hope that the disaster will not fade away and that Tohoku will send out energy to move forward. During the festival, a "Tohoku Rokken Yagura" and panels of players wearing happi coats will appear in the front plaza of the stadium to create a lively festival atmosphere. In addition, this year, events from different prefectures will be held for each of the six days of games, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of Tohoku cultural experiences, such as workshops to make local specialties from each prefecture, festival dance performances, and more.

In addition, a "Tohoku Rokken Gourmet Festival" will be held at the main plaza, and on the final day, June 14 (Sun.), a "Ganbarou Tohoku" Big Flag Ceremony will be held on the field before the games begin. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, June 7.
