Fukuoka Softbank Hawks player Shuya Oizumi recorded hit for the first time in six games. His performance of 3 hit 2 RBI greatly contributed to the team's win. He has played in 20 games so far, with a batting average of .316. The question now is whether he can continue to impress and earn a spot on the main roster.

On the other hand, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's Martinez is in good form, batting .396, with a two-run homer (his third of the season) in the game on the 26th. Although he has appeared in nine games for the first team this season, he has not been able to produce results, batting .056. He will be looking to produce even more hit in order to make a comeback on the first team stage.
