Today, we’re introducing Momoko Mizuochi from the official cheerleading team of the “Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters,” the “The Fighters Girls.”
She is from Rausu Town, Hokkaido, was born on March 26, and goes by the nickname “Moko.” Her hobbies include going out for delicious meals with friends and relaxing at home watching TV dramas and anime. She joined the “The Fighters” group at the same time as her identical twin sister, Sakurako Mizuochi, and is now in her third year with the group.
For Ms. Mizuochi, last season was a year that reaffirmed her strong belief that “being able to cheer on my favorite team with all my heart is my greatest joy and source of pride.” She says that she was able to enjoy her activities so wholeheartedly thanks to The Fighters, which made it such an exciting season.
There were so many moments during our activities that truly touched my heart, and I’ve decided to continue this season. With the sincere desire to “support ‘The Fighters’ with all my heart and see even more people smile,” I’ll energize “ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO” with my bright and powerful performances.

[The Fighters Girls]
In 2004, the The Fighters Girls cheerleading team was formed along with the team's relocation to Hokkaido. Beyond energizing the stadium with their performances and cheering on the team, they are active both inside and outside the stadium, serving as stadium tour guides, promoting the team in various media, and working as dance academy instructors. They also actively participate in visits to kindergartens and daycare centers throughout Hokkaido and appear at events, playing a crucial role as a "bridge" connecting The Fighters with fans and the local community. This season, wearing their newly redesigned costumes—the first refresh in four years—the team consists of 27 members, including 14 new members and 13 returning members, who will passionately support The Fighters in their quest win.
