◇Tohoku Rakuten Eagles Academy coaches conduct "baseball-style" outreach lessons.
Rakuten Eagles offers 'baseball-style' outreach classes for elementary school students in Miyagi Prefecture in grades 3~6, where former professional baseball players and Rakuten Eagles academy coaches, who hold qualifications such as junior high and high school health and physical education teacher licenses, visit schools directly. Registration began through the dedicated form on the team's website.
This program, conducted with the aim of "baseball promotion" and "support for educational settings," creates opportunities for children to move their bodies and experience the joy of baseball through the characteristics of baseball sports, such as "individual challenge" and "team cooperation."
Additionally, baseball is designed so that even children with no experience or who are uncomfortable with exercise can participate with confidence, and teachers are also considerate of concerns such as "Can I enjoy classes even without baseball experience?" and "I want the class to be a class where everyone feels united." The implementation period is from June 2026 to March 2027. It is free of charge and will be conducted using baseball equipment prepared by the Academy.
