Seibu Lions will host a special cheering event for their game against the Hiroshima Carp on June 11th (at Belluna Dome), featuring the Waseda University fielder squad. Prior to the event, after pre-game practice that day, the cheering squad performed a special musical piece and offered encouragement to Waseda University alumni, including Chief Hitting Coach Nishi, pitcher Coach Oishi, and infielder Kazunari Ishii.

In front of the three, he performed songs such as "Konpeki no Sora" (Deep Blue Sky). After receiving their encouragement, Ishii vowed, "It's a blessing to be able to hear your support now that I'm a professional. When you come to see me, I want to win and perform well so that everyone at Waseda University can be happy."
