[Softbank Hawks] Kensuke Kondo removed from the active roster under special bereavement leave to attend the wake and funeral of his older brother, Yosuke, who passed away on the 6th at the age of 39. Softbank Hawks 's Kondo has been removed from the active roster under a special bereavement leave rule introduced this season. He is taking this leave to attend the wake and funeral of his older brother, Yosuke, who passed away on the 6th at the age of 39. This rule allows him to be re-registered without having to wait the usual 10 days. The rule was introduced this season and was first applied to Orix Buffaloes 's Hiroshi on the 15th.

Uesawa was also removed from the active roster, and Takahashi was promoted to the first team.
