Lotte's Koki Yamaguchi outfielder (25) played starting line-up as the seventh batter and left fielder. In the seventh inning with one out and a runner on second and trailing by 4 runs, he Nippon-Ham hit his first two-run homer to left field off starting right-fielder Fukushima.

With a launch angle of 20 degrees, he hit a line drive drive that cleared outfield wall. "I didn't think it would go in, but I'm glad. I'm happy. I'm really happy that I got a result. But the team is still losing, so we won't give up until the end. We'll turn the game around!" he vowed to win.
