Lotte manager Saburo (49) commented on outfielder Kyota Fujiwara (25) after the game against Nippon-Ham on the 12th (at ZOZO Marine Stadium). "I think he'll be out for at least two months. Well, I don't know how many months it will be, but I think we just have to win with the members we have now," he said.

Fujiwara was injured and forced to leave the game against Softbank Hawks on the 10th (at Mizuho PayPay Dome). He collided with the right field wall while defense in the 5th inning and was later diagnosed with an anterior subluxation of the right shoulder joint at a hospital in Fukuoka City. Up to this point in the season, he had been leading the offense with a batting average of .297, 2 Home Run, and 17 RBI in 35 games.
