Softbank Hawks won by a large margin, securing a series win for the first time in two series.
Starting pitcher Maeda Yu allowed a hit by Hit by Pitch and infield hit closer two outs in the first inning, but retired Ueda on a groundout to second base to end the runs. In the second inning, with one out and a runner on first, he gave runs a two-run homer to Inoue to left-center field, but after that he showed tenacious pitch.
The lineup was trailing by two runs in the third inning with one out and a runner on first, but Shuto hit a timely triple wall to right field to get one run back.
