Rakuten Eagles infielder Itsuki Murabayashi (28) will be wearing pink items in the game against Seibu Lions on the 10th (Belluna Dome).
The games on that day will be held as "NPB Mother's Day 2026" at the six regular season stadiums, with the aim of expressing gratitude to mothers in conjunction with Mother's Day on May 10th. The use of pink bats, spike, and other items will be specially permitted only on this day.
Murabayashi received a pink-colored batting glove, spike, bat, and foot guard from Mizuno Corporation, with whom he has a brand ambassador contract. Rakuten Eagles' offensive and defensive core player will express his gratitude through his play, accompanied by his specially customized "partners."
