Orix Buffaloes Riku Miyaguni pitcher was pulled after 5 hit 2 runs in the 3rd inning. He joined Toho Aichi as the third pick in the 2023 developmental draft, and in his third year as a pro, he recorded a tie for the most wins in seven farm league games this season, tying the West Division with four wins—a fastest right-hander at 154 km/h. On the 7th, he was officially listed as a registered player and made his professional debut as mound.

In the first round, Castro in front was thrown to the lead, and Gunji was swung and missed, struck out to cook. With two outs, Sachi Kiyomiya carried the ball to center field, but he retired Reyes on a grounder to short. In the second inning, with one out, Yazawa allowed a triple to left-center, but struck out swinging Mannami, he retired Mizuno to fly out to third base.

In the third inning, immediately after receiving a one-run lead, he allowed a single to Castro with one out, and then gave up an infield hit to Kiyomiya Yuki with two outs, putting runners on first and third. He then gave up a two-run doble to Reyes to left-center field, allowing the opposing team to take the lead. "I was a little nervous, but I was excited to go up to mound. Overall, I think I was able to challenge the batters in strike zone with all my pitches. I was able to get more swings and misses and fouls with fastball than I expected, which gave me confidence. The pitch to Reyes (in the third inning) was a little too easy to hit, and I regret that," he reflected.

From the fourth inning, the second pitcher, Hiroshi, took mound. His first professional win was put on hold, but he showed glimpses of his great potential with a fastball that reached a top speed of 150 km/h.
