Seibu Lions announced on the 7th that they will be holding a new major summer event, "Aofes 2026," from July 31st (Friday) to August 26th (Wednesday).
"Aofes 2026" is a new major summer event that will go beyond the excitement at Belluna Dome and involve the surrounding area, including Tokorozawa City and the area along Seibu Lions Line. Ten years have passed since the first "The Lions Festivals" was held in 2016, and this year the event will take it to the next level, promoting various initiatives in collaboration with the community under the concept of "painting Saitama in the blue of The Lions in summer."
During the event, approximately 2,000 employees at Tokorozawa City Hall and employees at about 100 shops in the city's shopping districts will wear the "Aofes jersey 2026," painting the city of Tokorozawa blue.
Furthermore, employees of group companies such as Seibu Lions en Amusement Park and Prince Hotels along the railway line will also wear jersey while working, enlivening the town and the area along Seibu Lions Line with the color blue.
The design theme for the "Aofes jersey 2026" is "Blue Moment." It is inspired by the summer night games held at Aofes, and the sky over Tokorozawa, where the summer blue sky and sunset intertwine, using a gradient of three shades of blue. For the game Orix Buffaloes on August 1st (Saturday) and the game Orix Buffaloes at Tokyo Dome on August 18th (Tuesday), the "Aofes jersey 2026" will be distributed to all attendees except for those in certain seats. In addition, pre-orders for replica jersey began today at 1:30 PM.
Further event information will be announced on the special website and other platforms as soon as details are finalized. Tickets for the "Aofes 2026" period, from July 31st (Fri) to August 26th (Wed), will go on sale sequentially starting with a fan club pre-sale lottery on May 29th (Fri).

"jersey 's color is refreshing and cool, perfect for summer. I can't wait to play a game in this jersey. After games, you see lots of people walking around town wearing The Lions jersey, so I hope the city becomes even more blue."
▼Comment pitcher Shinnosuke Hada (from Tokorozawa City)
"I think it's wonderful to see my hometown being painted in the blue of The Lions. I became a fan because I felt a close connection to The Lions when I was a child, so now I want to work hard to become that kind of person for others."
