◆ Pacific League Orix Buffaloes vs. Lotte (April 4th, Kyocera Dome Osaka)

starting line-up was announced. After losing shutout game the previous day against Nippon-Ham (ES CON FIELD), Orix Buffaloes started Ryoto Kita outfielder as "No.1, right wing" and Tomoya Mori catcher as "No.2, DH". This is the first time this season that both players have started in the same batting order lineup, and manager Mamoru Kishida made a major reshuffle of the lineup. Both Yuma Mune infielder and Haruto Watanabe outfielder, who had been the "No. 1, No. 2 duo" for six consecutive games until the previous day, started on the bench.
