After losing shutout game the previous day against Nippon-Ham (ES CON FIELD), Orix Buffaloes started Ryoto Kita outfielder as "No.1, right wing" and Tomoya Mori catcher as "No.2, DH". This is the first time this season that both players have started in the same batting order lineup, and manager Mamoru Kishida made a major reshuffle of the lineup.
