◆ Pacific League Rakuten Eagles: Nippon-Ham (April 4th, Rakuten Eagles Mobile is the strongest team)

Rakuten Eagles made a major roster change on the 4th, replacing six players.

outfielder Oscar González (28), pitcher Chiharu Tanaka (25), and pitcher Ryota Takinaka (31) have been added to the active roster. In their place, pitcher Takahisa Hayakawa (27), pitcher Daichi Shibata (28), and outfielder Atsuki Muto (24) have been removed from the active roster.

In his second year, Gonzalez has only played one game for the first team this season, hit At Bat in one at-bat. Since mid-April, he has been adjusting in the farm system. So far in the farm system, he has played in 21 games, batting .271 with 3 Home Run and 9 RBI. In the game The Giants in the same league on April 28th (at Shinrindori Izumi), he hit a home run to right field. This foreign player, whose power hitting is highly anticipated, is expected to accelerate the team's momentum.

Hayakawa, who was removed from the roster, earned his second win of the season the previous day against Softbank Hawks on the 3rd, runs seven scoreless innings and strike out nine. It was a hard-fought 120-pitch performance. It is believed that he was removed from the roster considering that he had been working at full capacity since the start of the season despite having just recovered from left shoulder surgery. He participated in the first-team practice that day, adjusting by doing catch practice and other drills.
