This time, we introduce TAMAKI, the new member of Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles 's official cheerleader, the Tohoku Golden Angels.

Born December 13 in Miyagi Prefecture, nicknames are "Tamaki-chan, Tama-chan," and her hobbies include visiting theme parks and cafes.

TAMAKI has studied classical ballet for about ten years from age three to junior high school, and during her student days, she participated in cheerleading clubs supporting various sports. He attends Rakuten Eagles matches every season, and a few years ago, he even worked part-time at a restaurant inside the stadium. I was inspired by the Angels I saw there and applied for the audition.

◯How would you describe your personality in one word?
I do things at my own pace, but when it's time to get serious, I do it properly.

No matter what path I take or how my goals change, I am always grateful to my family for their support.

What inspired you to start dancing?
Because my siblings were taking ballet lessons, my mother encouraged me to start learning classical ballet when I was three years old.

Where do you want to go most right now?
I want to relax in a tropical country.

What would you want to eat as your last meal?
Mom's fried chicken and a lifetime's worth of salmon roe

◯What surprised you most after joining "Tohoku Golden Angels"?
I was very surprised by the seniors' stamina and how quickly they learned the choreography.

What do you find most difficult right now?
To dance various genres of dance

Things I'd like to learn from my seniors
I'd like to learn how to perform dances effectively and make them more appealing!

◯What were your impressions on your first day of practice?
I was so nervous my stomach hurt, but I was so happy to be able to take lessons with seniors I've always admired.

What are you most looking forward to doing with this team from now on?
Cheering for Rakuten Eagles together with the fans in the left field stands.

[Tohoku Golden Angels]
Formed in 2005, the year the team was founded, this season marks their 22nd year as a cheerleading team. For the 2026 season, they have 25 members in total: 9 new members and 16 returning members. In addition to energizing the stadium and supporting the team through their performances, the cheerleading team also engages in PR activities through appearances in various media outlets and works as cheer dance school instructors, aiming to be a "bridge" connecting the team with fans and the local community.
They also place great importance on revitalizing the entire Tohoku region, and one of their distinguishing features is their active interaction with local people, such as visiting elementary and junior high schools throughout Tohoku and visiting kindergartens and nurseries with the team's official mascot.
