◆ Pacific League Orix Buffaloes 5-4 Softbank Hawks (29th, Kyocera Dome Osaka)

Orix Buffaloes came from behind to defeat Softbank Hawks, bringing their lead to seven games above .500, tying their season high. Trailing by one run in the eighth inning, they attacked Osuna. Moritomo led off with a single to right field, followed by Nakagawa's doble the left field line, creating a scoring opportunity with no outs and runners on second and third. Seymour then hit a go-ahead two-run single to center field, turning the game around.

On the pitching side, starter Tajima pitched a tough 5 2/3 innings, giving up 3 runs. In the 7th inning, third pitcher Yamazaki gave up a run that temporarily put the team behind, but Yamada, Teranishi, and Machado then pitched in relief.
