Before the game, AKB48 members Yui Kawamura and Aoi Hanada appeared. Kawamura, who is from Hokkaido, threw first baseman pitch.
Kawamura took to mound saying, "I'm very nervous and full of anxiety, but I've practiced a lot, so I hope I can show the results of my practice." With a dynamic form, he delivered a magnificent one-bounce pitch that just missed the target, drawing cheers from the stands.
Nevertheless, Kawamura said, "I'm filled with regret because I fell just short, so I would really like to have a rematch."
