◆ Pacific League League: Lotte vs. Nippon-Ham (16th, ZOZO Marine Stadium)

Lotte outfielder Kyota Fujiwara led off the first inning with the team's first hit Nippon-Ham 's Hosono. He hit the second pitch, after a 1-strike count, to left field.

Hosono had previously thrown a humiliating no hitter in a game against Nippon-Ham on March 31st (at Escon Stadium). Fujiwara's hit finally brought a hit to the game against Hosono in the 10th inning and against the 30th hitter.

This series is tied at 1-1. Fujiwara's hit has shifted the momentum, and the offense is now rallying for a win.
