The seven-member idol group "CANDY TUNE" appeared for the ceremonial first pitch.

Approximately 30 minutes before the game started, they held a live performance. They performed their hit song "Baibai FIGHT!", which has surpassed 100 million total streams, and livened up the stadium before the game.

Hikaru Kimura, Ohno, Otsu, and Go Suzuki taught pitch and challenged the ceremonial pitch, and seven people lined up to pitch. Bibian, a former member of HKT48 from Fukuoka, said, "There are two members from Fukuoka (with Kotomi Tachibana), and I have been watching The Hawks since I was little. I had a dream like that, but today I was going to fight twice! I also loved The Hawks and kept watching it, so I was really happy to be able to throw it at the first pitch of my dreams."
