Rakuten Eagles 's offense exploded, ending their two-game losing streak and bringing their winning percentage back to .500. Their 11 runs scored were their highest of the season.

By the fourth inning, all the starters hit and the lineup had connected, scoring five runs off Orix Buffaloes starter Kuri for the KO. The team had given up 12 struck out to Kuri on March 28 against Orix Buffaloes (Kyocera D), allowing a scattered 4 hit shutout game without even stealing second base. With the cheers of the city of Tori in the background, the team took revenge.

Then, in the 5th inning, he attacked Orix Buffaloes the third left fielder, Higashimatsu, and with 2 Walk outs and runners on first and second, YG Yasuda hit his first 3-run shot of the season in the opposite direction, into the home run zone in left field.

YG Yasuda, who changed his registered name in the offing, said, "I'm glad I got a shot as YG. I will do my best until the end so that we can win." It was the first time for hitter of Rakuten Eagles to hit Home Run into the home run zone, which has appeared in Rakuten Eagles mobile since this season. The team demoted starting line-up slugger, Voit, who was struggling with a batting average of .140, to the minor leagues for readjustment. When they fielded an all-Japanese lineup, the offense started to connect.

Left-handed pitcher Takahisa Hayakawa, who started the game, pitched well, allowing only 3 hit 1 run runs 7 innings. Due to surgery on his left shoulder last September, he started the season in the minor leagues, but he earned his first win of the season in his return to the major leagues.
