◆ Pacific League: Nippon-Ham vs. Softbank Hawks (November 11th, Escon Stadium)
Softbank Hawks pitcher Naoyuki Uwasawa made his first appearance at ES CON FIELD Field, his former home stadium with Nippon-Ham, since joining The Hawks. There were no boos from Nippon-Ham fans, but the leadoff batter, Yazawa, hit fastball on the second pitch into the right-field stands. Uwasawa moved to American baseball via the posting system in the 2023 offseason and joined Softbank Hawks in the 2024 offseason. A win would mark his 23rd win against all 12 teams. In the opening game against the same opponent, he gave up 4 runs in 5 innings and did not get a win or a loss.
