Last-place Seibu Lions secured their first series win of the season against first-place Softbank Hawks.

Starting pitcher Kosei Takahashi earned his first win of the season with 8 innings pitched, allowing only 2 hit and no runs, while strike out 11 batters. His opponent was the same team that won the league championship right in front of him on September 27th (Belluna Dome) during his final home appearance of the season last year. He retired the side in order through the first three innings, and from the fourth inning onward, although he allowed runner, he didn't let them reach second base. He dominated with strike out in every inning.

DRA1 player Taiga Kojima catcher =Meiji Univ. who started at "No.3 catcher" hit his second solo shot of the season with no outs runner in the first inning to lead off the second game in a row.
