In the fourth inning, Softbank Hawks successfully took the lead.

They conceded the first run in the first inning and were trailing by one run. With one out, Yamakawa hit doble to left-center field to get on base. Next up was Imamiya, who swung hard at the third pitch from opposing starter Kojima and hit a timely doble that hit the left field wall to tie the game.

Makihara grounded out to second, but runner advanced and hit a timely single to center off Tanigawara with two outs and a runner on third, giving the team the lead.

Of the six wins Softbank Hawks have achieved this season, five have been come-from-behind victories.
