◆ Pacific League Nippon-Ham 6-3 Orix Buffaloes (April 4th, ES CON FIELD)

Nippon-Ham once again came from behind to win with a home run offensive. This marks their first three-game winning streak of the season, bringing their winning percentage to .500.

Trailing by two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning with one out and runners on first and third, Nishikawa hit a go-ahead three-run homer to right field off Orix Buffaloes starter Kuri. His confident walk over the plate turned the game around.

In the sixth inning, a defense error allowed the opposing team to tie the game, but in the seventh inning, with two outs and runners on first and second base, Nomura, who had just intentional walk Kiyomiya Yuki being intentionally walked, hit a three-run homer to right field off Orix Buffaloes 's Yamazaki, his third of the season. His determined hit gave them the lead.

With this home run, the team hit 20 home runs in the first eight games of the season, setting a new Pacific League record that surpassed the 1991 Seibu Lions record.

Starting pitcher Tatsu gave up 3 runs in the middle of the 6th inning, preventing him from getting his first win. However, Shimamoto, Uehara, Tanaka, and Yanagawa pitched in relief, securing a comfortable victory. Uehara earned his first win of the season, and Yanagawa recorded his first save of the season.
