Nippon-Ham pitcher Kota Tatsu celebrated Haruki Haruki Hosono 's no hitter that was "typical" of pitcher.
When asked about the no-hitter of Hosono, who is close in age to him and a good friend, he chuckled and said, "Oh, here it comes, here it comes, I don't want to be asked that." He continued, "There's one thing I want to say, but the hero interview wasn't interesting at all. I was surprised. When you no hitter, you'd think the next thing to do would be to get excited and say something like, 'I'll throw perfect game next,' but instead he said, 'I don't think I can do it next time...' I don't think that's professional. That's the only thing I wanted to say."
Nevertheless, regarding the fact that he achieved such a feat, he honestly said, "But it's an amazing thing, so I'm thinking about how to celebrate." When asked if it would motivate him, he laughed and said, "Rather than motivation, there are only about five people in The Fighters have done it, right? (He's the seventh in the team, and the fifth for Nippon-Ham) I think it's rare just to be on the team at that moment, so all that's left is for me to pitch perfect game."
After achieving the remarkable feat, he exchanged words with manager Shinjo and revealed their conversation, saying, "He said something like, 'You beat me to it,' so I told him, 'I haven't pitched perfect game yet.'"
