On the 3rd, Lotte announced that the interior of the "The Marines Room," a collaboration room with Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho (Sumida Ward, Tokyo), which is operated by Lotte City Hotel Co., Ltd., a Lotte group company, has been renovated.
The entire guest room is based on black and white, the team colors of The Marines, and the guest room walls have been redesigned for this renewal. The mural was created by mural artist Hori Hayato (Holhy Paint Works), who also created the wall art for the "Player's Seat" at Zozo Marine Stadium. Kazuya Ojima pitcher The mural depicts five players, Atsuki Taneichi pitcher, Kyota Fujiwara outfielder, Misho Nishikawa outfielder, Daito Yamamoto outfielder, in action. The dynamic forms and tense, fleeting expressions on the players' faces give the mural art a realistic feel as if the excitement of the games were directly etched into the space.
The mural was painted specifically for The Marines Room and can only be viewed by guests staying at Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho. As a special perk for guests staying in The Marines Room, guests will receive a limited-edition towel featuring a collaboration design between Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho and The Marines.
Reservations for the newly renovated "The Marines Room" begin today, April 3rd. For details and reservation information for The Marines Room, please visit the Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho official website.
▼ Comment from Mr. Hori Hayato
"I depicted The Marines players with a dynamic touch, creating a composition that spreads throughout the entire space. By consciously layering the artwork on the otherwise flat wall, I believe I've created a finish that gives a sense of depth. For the background, I incorporated calming colors that match the atmosphere of the guest room, and on the opposite wall, I painted a stadium landscape, hoping that guests will feel as if they are actually at the venue. This space offers three things to enjoy: depth, elegance, and a sense of realism, so I hope you will come and experience it for yourself."
