Seibu Lions 's winning streak came to an end at two games.

Starter Kosei Takahashi pitcher did not make his first win of the season with 5 hit 4 runs (0 earned) in 6 innings. He continued to runs pitch no runner until the 5th inning, but in the 6th inning, when he let Mune walk in the lead with a Walk, he lost 4 runs at once due to mistakes by his teammates, such as two catches by Dora 1 and Kojima who formed a battery, and Hasegawa's fielder’s choice who played as "2nd and 1st base" while registering as a outfielder.

The offense was silenced by the opposing starting pitcher, Espinoza, and suffered shutout game loss with only five hit.
