Saitama Seibu Lions 's Canario recorded his first hit since coming to Japan.

Canario started the game as the number 7 batter and right fielder. In the top of the 6th inning, with a two-run lead, he stepped up to the plate for his third at-bat as the leadoff hitter. On a 2-1 count, he connected with breaking ball from pitcher Koshiro Hiroike. doble reached just short of the left-center wall fence, giving him his first hit since coming to Japan.

Furthermore, in defense of the 7th inning, with one out, he made a great defensive play by sliding to catch a ball hit by Soto that looked like it would drop in front of right field. He is showing great performance both offensively and defensively.
