The Saitama Seibu Lions will see Masayuki Kuwahara, who joined the team as a free agent during the offseason, face his former team, The BayStars, for the first time. In the preseason games so far, he has played in 12 games, posting a batting average of .306, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen base bases, and in the game against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles on the 18th, he recorded two doble, both of which led to runs.
