The Saitama Seibu Lions will see Masayuki Kuwahara, who joined the team as a free agent during the offseason, face his former team, The BayStars, for the first time. In the preseason games so far, he has played in 12 games, posting a batting average of .306, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen base bases, and in the game against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles on the 18th, he recorded two doble, both of which led to runs. He will be looking to further improve his form against his former team before the season starts.
