Chiba Lotte Marines announced that an artist with ties to Chiba Prefecture has produced an original song for the "BLACK BLACK" event, which will be held at games against Fukuoka Softbank from April 3rd (Fri) to 5th (Sun). "BLACK BLACK," which began in 2007, is an annual event with the theme of "PAINT THE STADIUM BLACK," in which the team wears the visiting uniform at their home stadium and paints the stadium black.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the event, rappers Bonbero and eyden, who have ties to Chiba Prefecture, and track maker KM have teamed up to create an original song inspired by "BLACK BLACK." It is a special song that uses hip-hop to express the sight of stands filled with fans in visitor uniforms, and the strength of the black group, such as the unity and enthusiasm that arises from that.
During the event, the song will be played on the stadium's screens, and Bonbero, eyden, and KM will be visiting the stadium on Saturday, April 4th. Wearing new visitor uniforms featuring the word "CHIBA," they will perform the song live on ground before the match.
