Nippon-Ham 's starting pitcher, Haruki Hosono, achieved no hitter. This is the 91st no-hitter in professional baseball, and the 103rd overall. It is the first no-hitter for the team since Ponce in 2022.

In the first inning, Hosono walked the leadoff batter, Walk, but then got Fujiwara to hit into a double play momentum.

When he closer the 2nd and 3rd innings with a 3-way retirement, in the 4th inning, he stole two bases on runner of the Hit by Pitch and had 2 outs and 2 bases and runner in scoring position, but he escaped the pinch by finishing off Polanco in the 4th with a struck out. In the 5th inning, he took Soto with a straight swing of 150 kg and struck out, and closer to a three-way retirement.

Even in the second half, he continued his impressive pitching, struck out in the sixth inning, starting with the eighth batting order. In the seventh inning, he retired the side in order with just seven pitches.
